Privacy Policy — DMV Research
At DMV Research, your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you interact with our website or purchase research products from us.
1. Information We Collect
When you visit or place an order on our website, we may collect the following information:
- Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses.
- Payment Details: Processed securely via encrypted checkout. We do not store full card numbers or security codes — only the card brand and last four digits are retained for order lookup.
- Technical Data: IP address, device type, browser, and activity on our site — collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect to:
- Process and deliver your orders efficiently
- Provide order confirmations, updates, and customer support
- Send promotional emails only if you opt in
- Improve our website performance and user experience
- Monitor for fraud and ensure site security
3. Information Sharing
We never sell or rent your personal data. However, we may share necessary information with:
- Trusted third-party partners for shipping, payment processing, and email communication
- Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook), for site-traffic analytics and ad performance — only if you accept them; see “Cookies & Tracking” below
- Regulatory or legal authorities if required by law or to protect our rights and safety
4. Cookies & Tracking
Our own order and site-performance systems use first-party, cookieless request logging. Separately, we use Google Analytics (GA4) and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand site traffic and ad performance, and a first-party cookie that remembers which ad or link you arrived from for up to 90 days, so we can credit the right channel for a sale. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel do not run until you accept themin the cookie banner shown on your first visit — declining, or not answering, keeps both off. Ad platforms and analytics providers may set their own cookies once accepted; see Google’s and Meta’s own privacy policies for how each of them uses that data. You may also disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.
5. Washington Residents — Consumer Health Data (My Health My Data Act)
Washington’s My Health My Data Act (MHMDA) covers information that identifies your past, present, or future physical health status, including data we infer from a purchase of research compounds. We collect: the products you view or purchase, and technical/traffic data tied to that activity through the analytics and advertising tools described above (once you accept them).
We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes beyond the named analytics/ad providers above, which you can decline. If you are a Washington resident, you have the right to: confirm whether we process your consumer health data; access and obtain a copy of it; withdraw a prior consent; and request deletion. To exercise any of these rights, email info@dmvresearch.shop.
6. Data Security
DMV Research implements strong technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
